WELCOME INCOMING 5TH GRADERS!!!

Hello! I am Mrs. Gibbs the Orchestra Director, and I am so happy that you are making the decision to join this awesome orchestra family. If you are still unsure about whether to join, or which instrument is best for you check out the tabs at the top, explore the videos, and come out to Instrument Selection Night!

In addition to learning a new instrument and making music we do some fun activities too. ​

• Orchestra Social Party

• String Fling(feeder schools come together for a performance)

• When you get into 6th grade you have the option to audition for Chamber Orchestra where we participate in a music festival and then go play at Main Event

​

As you move up into the Knox and College Park Orchestras they get to do some fun trips as well. DisneyWorld, New York City, and Six Flags San Antonio to name a few.

​

Another cool thing about being in Orchestra is that you can also do Choir. Orchestra is a full year class, and Choir is a before/after school activity.

In Orchestra we work hard and are succesful!
